About Cesar Medeiros
I am a Brazilian artist currently residing in the United States since 2001. My journey as an artist has been driven by an enduring fascination with colors. Opting for abstract art, I find it to be a liberating medium that allows me to express my creativity boundlessly. My artistic process is without any rigid logic, guided purely by instinct, where endless possibilities unfold. Shapes, colors, and lines materialize spontaneously, a direct reflection of the thoughts flowing through my mind in the moment.
When confronted with inquiries about the meaning behind my abstract paintings, my response is straightforward: observe the artwork. Does it evoke any emotion within you? If so, that emotional response is the true meaning of the piece.
Each of my paintings is an original creation, meticulously crafted on 1 1/2 inch deep canvases. The borders are adorned with either solid color painting or seamlessly extend the artwork itself, eliminating the necessity for framing.
